FastTrack Program: 10 Week Curriculum

Week 1: Current Business Evaluation

Format: 90 minutes, 1 on 1 with your Program Leader
You will receive a 30 page detailed evaluation of your business that identifies is current value as well as identifying the areas that add to or detract from its value. We then create the framework of a business plan to amplify the positives and reduce or eliminate the negatives.

Week 2: Creating Scalability

Format: 90 minutes, Online with your peer group
This session will helps you identify your products and services that have the potential to scale up the fastest. We create a roadmap of the products and services that you can offer that will help you grow your business while minimising its dependence on your personally.

Week 3: The Customer Score

Format: 90 minutes, Online with your peer group
This session is dedicated to benchmarking your customer’s satisfaction with your business against the most successful and fastest growing companies in the world. We will deploy a survey on your behalf designed to gather your customer’s input. The survey includes a standard set of questions scientifically proven to be predictive of a company’s growth rate. We will take this opportunity to add specific questions customised to your specific requirements.

Week4: Your Growth Quadrant

Format: 90 minutes, Online with your peer group
Here, we review your product and service mix to maximise your growth potential. We will identify your product and service lines that have the highest growth potential and the lowest investment risk. This session will create a roadmap for you of the products and services you can offer that will grow your business the quickest with the least amount of risk.

Week 5: The Automatic Customer Builder

Format: 90 minutes, Online with your peer group
This session the focus is on increasing both the number and quality of recurring revenue streams that flow into your business. We will explore recurring revenue streams to increase the value of your business, smooth out demand so that you can plan your business more efficiently to improve both cash flow and profitability.

Week6: Differentiation

Format: 90 minutes, Online with your peer group
This week is all about understanding your Business's positioning in the market. We will identify the attributes and qualities of your business that give you a defendable market position. This session will identify the marketing messages that gives you the highest degree of differentiation from your competitors and that are also the most meaningful to your customers.

Week 7: The Hub and Spoke

Format: 90 minutes, Online with your peer group
The most efficient and valuable businesses are those that can operate independently of the owner. Here, we study how to reduce your company’s dependence on you personally. A system generated employee survey will reveal their understanding of your company’s priorities and goals. This session identifies the areas where additional training, systems or processes are needed to allow the business to operate without you.

Week 8: Business Independence

Format: 90 minutes, Online with your peer group
This modules focus is on reducing your reliance on any one customer or employee. A series of exercises will identify where the reliance lies and will create an action plan for reducing any over-reliance upon a customer or employee. The result of this process will reduce risks to your business and increase its overall value.

Week 9: Cashflow

Format: 90 minutes, Online with your peer group
The focus of this module is to maximise the cash flow generated from the day-to-day operations of your business. Our Cash Flow Finder tool will help find, unlock, and maximise different sources of cash flow within your business. This exercise will help reduce the stress caused by periods of low cash flow and will ultimately increase the value of your business.

Week10: Consolidation

Format: 90 minutes, 1 on 1 with your Program Leader
The final session is a one-on-one session with your Program Leader where we review the course content to ensure that the information has been consolidated. Your individual business growth plan and benchmarking criteria is finalised. Any concepts or actions that need additional support are identified and addressed.

Post FastTrack Program support available to you

Ongoing Peer Group Communications: During your 10 week program, you will have established a peer group of like-minded business owners. Running a business can be lonely work. Turn your peer group into a support group.

Working 1 on 1 with your Program Leader in an Advisory capacity: Having been there and done that, your business advisor will be familiar with your business and it's goals and objectives and can help you to move the needle and achieve the results you are looking for.

Continued Online Access to FastTrack materials and tools: You have 12 months access to the Online FastTrack platform where you can access all the course materials, resources and business tools covered during our 10 sessions. You will also have access to 2 modules that we did not study during the program:

Self-paced Online Module 1: Building your Short List:

This module provides a series of exercises to help you to create a list of potential acquirers of your business. The module will help you learn what to look for in an acquirer and understand how the decisions you make can add or detract from the attractiveness of your business from a strategic purchaser’s perspective.

Self-paced Online Module 2: Your Envelope Test:

This final module helps you identify your goals for your business and your life. How would your life be different if you sold your business? How much would you need to sell it for to successfully retire? This module will allow you to clearly see what life would be like once your have successfully exited your business.
